Passenger on Ludhiana Air India flight tests positive

One passenger on Air India Delhi-Ludhiana flight on Tuesday has tested positive for coronavirus. The passenger who works in the security department of Alliance Air was traveling on a paid ticket. All the passengers of this flight are now under state quarantine, said Air India in a statement on Wednesday. As India resumed domestic passenger flights on Monday, over 39,000 passengers flew across the country on the first day. A passenger on a Chennai-Coimbatore Indigo flight on Monday tested positive for coronavirus. After this, Indigo grounded the entire crew of the flight while the airline said it was trying to get in touch with the other passengers who were on that flight. As the government eased restrictions in Lockdown 4.0, the civil aviation ministry is gradually resuming flight operations in the country.
