18,000 students and workers hailing from Arunachal Pradesh are stranded in various parts of the country and the state government is trying to bring them back on priority, said Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu. He said the state government is reaching out to these people. "Since the nationwide lockdown has been extended, we want to make sure that people from our state stranded in other parts of the country don't suffer. Our senior officers are keeping in touch with the people so that they don't face any problems," he said.
